HOT NEWS : World Championships of Beach Ultimate

Belgium will participate with a women's team at the 3rd World Championships of Beach Ultimate ever! MissB is proud to organise the BE women's team to participate at WCBU 2011 in Italy.

These are the preliminary dates of the practices and tournament:

• Saturday February 5 from 13:00-16:00: Try-out and selection @ Zeebrugge Beach
• Saturday March 5 from 13:00-16:00: Practice selected team @ Hofstade Beach
• April 22 - April 25: Paganello in Rimini, Italy
• Trainingsweekend: to be determined (june or july)

We expect all selected players to attend these 4 events!

Anyone is welcome to come and try-out on February 5, not just girls who are currently on MissB!

MissB Selections 2010-2011

This year there will be three MissB teams. All of us will be training together, but only some of us will be going to the European Championships:

1 - the MissB EUC team: These are the people who will represent Belgium at the European Ultimate Championships in July.
2 - The MissB EUC reserve team: these are the ladies who will be "on call" in case anyone drops out of the MissB EUC team because of an injury, pregnancy, or similar.
3 - The MissB practice team: These are the people who are welcome to come to MissB practices to train, but who will not go to the European Championships with MissB (most of you will be going with the mixed team).

*Bono -sweet taste of life- saw 08 November 2009 the light! With his dark hair and big eyes, he's going to be an Adonis, watch out Ine and Wouter!


*11 December 2009 at 9 am: Lydia made her grand entrance! At almost 3kg and 47 cm and with blue eyes. A little, beauty buddy for Luke and milk vampire for Anouk S. (and Alex)!

After 3 try-outs we can finally say it out loud: our amazing MissBteam is born, HOERAY! We noticed a few very good women who are talented and motivated soooo it was no option to let them go!

Londen was burning down down down!

Some weeks after Londen, I finally write something short about it.
All I can say is that it was hot, nice, sweaty, safety, delicious, cool and little bit cruel at the time but we managed ending up 11th (of 16th), who can say that?! Yes MissB!
The score's from our 4days-trip: (Sorry, I can't remember a lot of each game in special)

MissB 15-12 ISO (what a game!)
MissB 12 - 14 Brilliance (don't let me start telling about that game..)

MissB 11 - 15 Yaka (waw again MissB is on fiiiiiiree!)

MissB 9 - 15 E6 (a game after lunch is not a good idea..)
MissB 15 - 8 Helsinki (what a flow, what a D, what a team!)

We can say that we may proud ending up 11th at such high level of ultimate. Our team had strong and less strong moments but one thing is sure: MISSB IS ON FIIIIRREE! (thanks to Annemie for giving us a new teamsong :) )

MissB organises two try-out practices!

Sunday October 18 from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. @ Blaarmeersen in Gent
Sunday Ocotober 25 from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. @ Sportkot in Leuven.

We want to invite all girls & women who wanna play with us next season! We are asking all players and especially the presidents and coaches of the Belgian teams to spread the word and to pass the message on to interested players on your team! After the try-outs the MissB roster for next season will be fixed and closed for another year.
